Mobile Lube performs its "dealer-like" BMW services in accordance with the following professional procedures:

• Place protective barrier material beneath vehicle to protect driveway
• Place waste oil collection pan under vehicle
• Remove drain plug
• Allow used oil to drain completely
• Remove old seal from drain plug
• Remove oil filter
• Remove old seals from filter housing cover and retaining screw (cartridge type filter only)
• Clean filter housing cover and retaining screw (cartridge type filter only)
• Lubricate and install new Genuine BMW O-ring seals on filter housing cover and retaining screw (cartridge type filter only)
• Clean filter seating area and visually inspect to verify surface is free from debris and old seal (spin-on type filter only)
• Install new Genuine BMW filter
• Install filter housing cover (cartridge type filter only)
• Torque cover (or retaining screw) to proper specification using micro-clic torque wrench (cartridge type filter only)
• Clean drain plug area and visually inspect to verify surface is free from debris and old seal
• Lubricate and install new Genuine BMW drain plug seal onto drain plug
• Install drain plug hand-tight until seated
• Torque drain plug to proper specification using micro-clic torque wrench
• Clean any oil drips from drain plug and surrounding area
• Install engine oil to specified capacity - Mobil (standard oil), Mobil 1 or Genuine BMW (synthetic oil)
• Install oil filler cap
• Start engine to circulate oil through filter
• Shut off engine
• Check oil level and add, as necessary, to proper capacity
• Top-off washer fluid, as necessary - Genuine BMW
• Top-off intensive washer fluid, as necessary - Genuine BMW
• Top-off brake fluid, as necessary - BMW specified DOT4
• Top-off power steering fluid, as necessary - BMW specified (several types - depends on model)
• Top-off hydraulic leveling fluid, as necessary - BMW specified
• Top-off coolant, as necessary - BMW specified - 100% phosphate-free
• Check air filter and some micro-filters (depends on access)
• Inflate tires to specified pressure (or customers preference)
• Reset oil service/inspection lights, as necessary (or desired)
